- Casablanca fans with variable speed controls in all bedrooms, Office, Living Room, and Kitchen.
- Exterior lighting around the exterior of the home, including a flood light directed to the lower canyon area.
All electrical fixtures have a Brush Nickel finish.
The sinks, toilets, and Whirlpool are finished in Biscuit Color, except for the Kitchen and Wet Bar Sinks (Stainless Steel), and the Laundry Utility Sink (White).
The most notable plumbing fixtures would be in the Master Bathroom; namely the Whirlpool and Steam Room:
Aquatic Industries two-person Whirlpool with electronic control and digital display for operation of the Inline Maintenance Heater and the 2 HP, 3-Speed Run-Dry Pump, Chromatherapy Lighting and an Integral Waterfall Fill Spout. The Century 24 features eight full size hydrotherapy jets, including three recessed Rotary Massage Jets, four Full Size Pressure-Flo Hydrotherapy Jets and one Fan Jet. One lounger features two stacked Rotary Massage Jets. The second lounger places a Fan Jet horizontally above a Rotary Massage Jet for complete upper and lower back massage. Clearly, this is not your contractor - spec builder - whirlpool.
MrSteam Residential Steam Bath Generators are truly amazing. Their website says it all. The Model MS300 was chosen according to the size of the Steam Bath / Shower.
Also included is the
Tempo Controls located inside the
Steam
Room, and the the Auto-flush accessory which drains water after each
use, providing clean steam every time by introducing fresh water
prior to using your MrSteam.
The majority of the copper piping is underground in the slab to minimize noise.
All plumbing fixtures have a Brush Nickel finish.
Cellular shades are one of the most popular window treatments because of their numerous features. The unique cellular construction provides excellent insulation and sound absorption and they are very durable yet extremely soft to the touch. Because of the honeycomb construction of Cellular shades they are ideal at providing light filtering control to a room. The blackout cellular shades take this a step further and allow for the total blackout of light into the room.
M & B (Hunter Douglas) Cellular Shades have been installed in the Living Room, Master Bedroom, Master Bathroom, Office, and the Northwest Bedroom. 'Serenity Opaque' Shades (blackout type) are in the Living (Entertainment) Room; 'Essence Natural' Shades are in the remainder of the home.
There are two Velux skylights in the home. One operable Skylight (Model VSE 606) in the Entry with full-function electronically operated Venetian Blinds, and an electronically operated exterior Heatblock Awning. The operable skylight, the Blinds, and Awning are all controlled either from a Wall-Mounted Keypad (Model WLI 160), a Remote Control, or via the Interface to the OmniPro II Controller for Home Automation (Model WLF 111).

The other (fixed) Skylight is in the Laundry Room (Model FS 156).
Whole-House Ozone Water Treatment
This home includes the "Triple O" Water Purification System designed to remove many common contaminants from well and spring water: Iron (orange stains), Manganese (black stains), Hydrogen Sulfide (rotten egg odor), Bacteria, Taste, Color, Acid pH and Turbidity.
Benefits of Ozone. Municipal water companies have used ozone technology to treat large quantities of water for many years because of its effectiveness in purifying and conditioning water.
Triple O Systems has selected ozone technology for use in treating well/tank water because of its unique properties to:
- Kill bacteria on contact thousands of times faster than chlorine or bromine.
- Kill virus on contact.
- Kill algae spores, fungus, mold and yeast spores.
- Precipitate heavy metals.
- Remove excess iron, manganese, and sulfur by a process known as micro-flocculation, thus conditioning the water naturally without chemical additives.
- Remove color and odor, leaving a fresh, healthy bouquet.
- Reduce scale build-up on equipment such as pipes and water heaters, and staining of showers, sinks, bathtubs and toilets .
- Ozone leaves no residue, it's only by-product is pure oxygen
In addition to the obvious benefits of ozone purification system, there are several not-so-obvious benefits you will be enjoying:

The driveway is made of colored concrete (i.e., not asphalt), is sixteen feet wide, and is approximately 180 feet long and about a 25 degree incline. So a little intimidating the first time up, but one doesn't even think about it afterwards... This is what gets you up to the views.
Most driveways are about 3.5-4.0" thick. This driveway is 5.5-6.0" thick; at least 33% thicker than normal! While there is clearly extra money involved, the intent was to minimize future maintenance, and also to minimize potential damage from heavy equipment should the need arise (e.g., swimming pool construction).
There are eight zones installed (and controlled through Automation):

There are two decks at this home. The main deck, with access from both the Kitchen and Dining Rooms, and a second private deck with access from one of the additional bedrooms.
The most notable point about these decks is

In addition to this material, DECKMASTER® Brackets & Screws were used as the fasteners. DECKMASTER® is a premium hidden deck fastening system which enhances not only the look of the deck, but last years longer than conventional decks.

The cabinets are custom-built and finished, and made of Alder; A hard wood. They are found in the Kitchen, Laundry, Landing, and all the bathrooms.

All perimeter doors and windows are of wood construction with an aluminum-clad exterior and brush nickel hardware. The manufacturer is Sierra Pacific Windows. The interiors have a stained finish. The Entry door is made of Mahogany wood, includes a sidelight, and is finished with it's natural color.
Keeping in mind that this is a split-level design, custom stained red-oak railings are employed between the Entry to the Living Room upstairs, and the Entry to the Landing downstairs leading to the Office and Master Bedroom.
